Rewigging dolls? Removing marks?

If anyone could provide links to that would help me with either of those, I'd appreciate it very much. I'd like to try my hand at refurbishing a pre-loved doll. [img]graemlins/rose.gif[/img]

Mr.Clean Magic Eraser does wonders for surface dirt, shiney spots and even light scuffs.
A product called GOOF-OFF removes paint, makeup, stains,excess glue from wigs, marker and sometimes even ink pen.It is AMAZING, but use it sparingly because it is strong, it does remove paint so keep ot off of cheeks, freckles and eyes.Also be careful to rinse when you are done, it does seem to leave a residue.

OK, first where to buy wigs: in the justmagicdolls.com page you not only have instructions about how to rewig, but also some links to sellers.
Most wigs are brushable... to an extent. In the same way that the original wig that AG places on the dolls are brushable!
Regarding material choice: I have been dreaming with rewiggin my oldest Sam with a human hair wig (ultra top of the line! but the price is a bit steep for my current budget on that project!
Mohair is a bit more care intensive than modacrilic (the original on AGs) but also has a better feel to it (more real)
Pick! Choose! Take risks! Enjoy!
Remember: if you really really mess it up... there is always AG hospital! Just kidding!
